Can you believe that there are only 2 months left of school?  May is already jammed full of great activities for the students.  Also during May we will be having EQAO and sending a Track and Field team to the meet in Haliburton on May 25th.  The Student Council will be continuing to organize some great events like the pajama day and crazy hair/crazy hat day they planned in April.

Thank you to Steve Kauffeldt, Gillian Plumb, Jenny Anderson, Ms. Gautreau, Ms. Nottage, Ms. Coles and Mr. Brown for helping and supervising the grade 5 and 6 students at Yearley.  It sounded like everyone had a great experience.

Wilberforce Elementary School is a junior-intermediate school, which means that we have grade 4 to grade 8.  The school organization consists of split grades - we have a grade 4/5 class, a grade 5/6 class, and a grade 7/8 class.  Our schedule is a balanced day.  Our day begins at 8:55 am and we have a 20 minute nutrition break at 10:40, then a 20 minute recess break.  Our second nutrition break is at 1:00 pm and it is followed by another 20 minute recess.  Our day ends at 3:25 pm.

Our students come from Wilberforce, Cardiff, and the surrounding area.
