On July 19, Queen Victoria Public School celebrated the final weeks of the school year by hosting an Outdoor Day event.
The afternoon welcomed parents and guardians to join in the festivities as students rotated through nine stations, six of which were track and field themed with the opportunity to compete for ribbons. The other three stations featured presentations from school council members and community partners, including Kawartha Lakes Fire Department and Kawartha Lakes Police Services.
The day wrapped up with pizza, freezies, and Constable Walden and school principal, Bill Thompson each taking turns in the dunk tank!
